soapdragon
Our ironing board needed replacing last year. It was a wedding present from BIL 26 years ago. The legs had gone wobbly and it collapsed; OH has lasted longer but only just; he says his legs are wobbly too!
Geoid
I have this one. Very sturdy and stable, very light and has a lot of different height settings too
mullethunter
No idea where ours is - or even if it moved house with us nearly 2 years ago!
chickencam
I have a John Lewis one, I replaced my Brabantia one a few years back because the mesh was rusty, ED had this at uni but threw it away when she left.
Luvachicken
Mine was a wedding present from John Lewis so it has done well, but is also rusting underneath. I would like one that doesn't walk across the kitchen floor
soapdragon
Have just finished a half hour ironing session; boy's and my stuff, t shirts, pillow cases, dress and school trousers, and I have left OH's shirts to do as another 'wodge' when I am feeling brave at the weekend. I do find that, by just doing half an hour here and there, I don't get fed up with it and it keeps the pile down.
Plum
Why do you all have boards if you don't iron Someone on here changed my life a few years ago when they said why iron duvet covers
Chickabee
I don't iron, and don't know many people who do. I have an iron and a board. Everyone in my house knows how to use it if they need it

The Dogmother
Dunno, I never found one. A male colleague does all his own ironing. My OH is forgiven though as he is a super cook

soapdragon
I tried to 'teach' OH many years ago when we were first together. He made a cracking job of ironing in extra creases; I had to point out that the creases had to be obliterated not multiplied. Was def a case of the more the merrier as far as he was concerned! On the other hand.....maybe it was a ruse to get out of doing it
