Still no sign of baby...

Recommended Posts

I know it's easy for me as Ash was born over a year ago now and all the waiting does become a distant memory.

Sit down with a cup of tea (Raspberry of course to soften the cervix!) and a good book. The gripping the better, then just as you are getting to a ppoiunt where you really need to knwo whats going on and can;t read fast enough the baby will probably come to say hello!

GOOD LUCK

I had those braxton hicks months before, he was due on bonfire night, but came 10 days late, went into labour after a big dinner just as the 6 o'clock news started  that was nearly 22 years ago, but I remember it as if it was yesterday, enjoy every minute of it, time goes by so quickly, good luck :D

Boris,

Sympathies to you - those last couple of weeks take forever after the 8 long months of waiting. BUT make the most of it - your life (and mind and body) will never be the same again! You can't imagine how this tiny s"Ooops, word censored!" who eats/sleeps/cries in a monotonous routine can take up so much time and energy!

My ds1 was born on his due date and I 'knew' he was coming because I got a real urge to stick close to home. I therefore assumed his brother would be early and of course the little sod was 8 days late - he's been a contrary sort ever since!

I'm not that far from you, I think, if you need any animal-related help.

Good luck - it's all terribly exciting and if I didn't remind myself just how hideous three year old boys can be I would be getting very broody!

Jo
