Boris70
but if you ask any midwife, the best way to effectivly administer this type of prostgadin is erm . . . orally. I've read that too - funny how that bit of research was carried out by a man!
chickencam
Sounds like you will get your baby soon. There is no predicting these things my first was three weeks early and my second was two weeks late ( 5 weeks more of pregnancy ) and my third was one day late. You have got us all on tenterhooks now, sending positive vibes

Aunty e
My cat is now in the first stage of labour, which is much messier than I imagined. I'll try and waft her contraction vibes your way.
Lesley
Farm cats sound much easier - they just appear with eight week old kittens not so easy to catch to have them spayed though!
Aunty e
I'm terrified for her. Poor little love. She keeps sitting in my lap. I'm quite sure she's not going to have them in my lap though.
Krysia
I know it's easy for me as Ash was born over a year ago now and all the waiting does become a distant memory. Sit down with a cup of tea (Raspberry of course to soften the cervix!) and a good book. The gripping the better, then just as you are getting to a ppoiunt where you really need to knwo whats going on and can;t read fast enough the baby will probably come to say hello! GOOD LUCK
Looney
I hope all goes well and baby makes an appearance soon I'm expecting my first in April so have been reading any baby / child related threads with great interest!
Ain't Nobody Here
Best of luck when baby eventually arrives. My second arrived 10 days late - and thus on my birthday! Not the present I was expecting . From one Vicki to another Vicki
SarahJo
Hope all goes well when it does happen - My 1st came out at 36 weeks - waters broke, in breech and c-section. 2nd 38 weeks - breech, c - section, but bless the little so and so - did threaten to appear at 32 weeks, so gald of the extra time. Vicki - I had Ben on my birthday too - best pressie ever

pepe
I had those braxton hicks months before, he was due on bonfire night, but came 10 days late, went into labour after a big dinner just as the 6 o'clock news started that was nearly 22 years ago, but I remember it as if it was yesterday, enjoy every minute of it, time goes by so quickly, good luck

Boris70
I'm still here - not much of anything is going on - just hoping it is going to be soon. Feel shattered today, so won't be doing much - oh, unless labour starts and then I'll be really busy!

jomaxsmith
Boris, Sympathies to you - those last couple of weeks take forever after the 8 long months of waiting. BUT make the most of it - your life (and mind and body) will never be the same again! You can't imagine how this tiny s"Ooops, word censored!" who eats/sleeps/cries in a monotonous routine can take up so much time and energy! My ds1 was born on his due date and I 'knew' he was coming because I got a real urge to stick close to home. I therefore assumed his brother would be early and of course the little sod was 8 days late - he's been a contrary sort ever since! I'm not that far from you, I think, if you need any animal-related help. Good luck - it's all terribly exciting and if I didn't remind myself just how hideous three year old boys can be I would be getting very broody!
