Those of you who were around last year might remember that it is nearly a year since my lovely son died suddenly in Dubai. Well as you can imagine it has been a difficult year and at times I don't know how I've got through it but like everyone else in the same situation I have.

 

Anyway, just heard from one of my son's best friends from uni days that she gave birth to a little boy yesterday and has given him my son's name for a middle name as she wanted something special to remember her friend by. Can't think of anything more special than that!

 

Also, for various reasons that I won't go into, she knows he was conceived during the weekend at the end of March when we had a memorial service for my son. She was not planning to have children and didn't even know she was pregnant until 6 months but after the shock, horror, tears etc she was absolutely delighted.

 

I am also delighted for her and I'm sure my son is having a little chuckle as he watches over them.
