Soggy run

[Snowy]

Oldest son had a gig tonight at the Shed in Leicester (where Kasabian were discovered )So I went along as roadie. Turns out it was a battle of the bands gig, with votes at the end, and only the winner gets paid! And his band won!

They are excellent - son is drummer, but also did lead vocals on one track and backing vocals on the others. So amazing to see him up there on stage - felt very proud!

I did manage to get a short video, but only just realised it's not a good idea to take videos in portrait style as you can't twizzle them round

OK - here he is, bit obscured by the lead guitarist but it really is the drummer singing

Aww, well done to him!

You're fully entitled to a proud mother moment there

You can spin them round, you just need the right software (which is ££££).

[Alis girls]

As a Leicestershire girl born and bred and living in the capital - I know Leicester rocks!! Great - be proud. I bet its fun being a roadie!! I dont think either of mine will be band material - but still love them

[MedusA]

We would still like to see the sideways video.

[ChickenJo]

I think you're definitely allowed your moment!! Do keep your recording, they'll love it for years to come! (if only my mum hadn't 'accidentally' recorded over my wedding video that was made in a similar fashion!!)

[Mutrix Farmers]

Congratulations to Snowy's son and band

When they're famous and playing Wembley, will all Omleteers get free tickets??

[chickencam]

You have every right to be proud. Well done to your son

OK, I've managed to get it onto Youtube, it was too big to get onto Photobucket

I've added the link to the first post, but may as well add it here as well

Needs to be viewed on a laptop so's you can turn it sideways.
