welovemarmite
nothing here, the kids are most put out and have grumbled out the door to the bus stop. Just phoned my mum in cambridgeshire and there is none there either. Apparently its four inches in Bedford and stops suddenly on the bedford bypass. Christian
An inch has fallen since 8.30 here in Hampshire So we have 3 inches and no grit on the roads. Only see 2 cars on the road and they were driving in first gear! getting a bit like a blizzard now, as the wind is picking up Porridge for breakfast (the chickens have had theirs )
Laura & CTB
I have an unexpected day off work too as no-one can get out of our road which is either a steep hill up one way or a steep hill down the other I've never seen this much snow here before. Airport is shut and no buses either.
Mrs Frugal
Our snow stopped yesterday afternoon after a rather pathetic effort and we had none overnight but it's coming down steadily now and has been since it got light. Hard to tell how much has fallen today because there's still snow on the ground from the weekend but we're getting lovely big, fat cotton wall balls of snow coming down! It looks really pretty but if it continues, I wouldn't be surprised if O's school bus is called for early!
Jillus
More snow overnight. Farm track snowed up, none but the brave will get to work. The chicken feed supplier is going to try and reach us with a tractor, the chickens are on warm pasta for breakfast to eke out the last of the pellets. That's it I have now officially had enough. Bring on Global Warming, hang on this is Global warming.
Tiggy
the main roads here are all fine, OH had his car broken last night, someone in a big BMW lost control & smashed the back end, the wing is hanging off. Luckily no one was hurt, a very disgruntled OH went to work by taxi this morning, had to help driver push the taxi off our front garden to get going, what was he was doing in our garden

The Dogmother
8" of snow here this morning and I'm one of three who have made it into work, will upload photos later today. Town is deserted and the main road past the office has just one track and cars are fishtailing along it Phil's snowed in again at the farm and his brother is stranded there too, they have more snow falling over there in Bucks, but then they are pretty high up. Patricia W
We've got at least 8" in Abingdon and it's still snowing.... Phillip hasn't stopped crowing this morning complaining about the carelessness of these hoomans who have dumped a lot of white stuff where he wants to walk. They've been out on the bench in front of the cube, refused to step down to the ground I cleared for them and are now back inside - glowering! All schools round about are closed and very few cars venturing out. Luckily (?) I can work electronically ... Tricia
