BeckyBoo Posted December 16, 2009 Share Posted December 16, 2009 Whilst I'm waiting to make sure all the children are asleep "properly" before I start the mammoth task of wrapping presents I thought I'd take this opportunity to say thanks to everyone on here. I started this year in my own personal version of hell, it's been the hardest year of my life - I can hand on heart say that - emotionally, financially (still not quite out of that one ) and physically as I've got used to juggling three kids, work, home, animals etc etc. And I certainly wouldn't have managed quite as well, particularly at the start of 2009, without this place to sound off and get lovely messages of support back. I've never really "done" forums before but this place is great. There is the odd spat, but generally I've "met" some lovely people, I had my own fairy Godmother from here at one point, I still don't know who that was, I've worked at the Ideal Home Show for three days and met some great people face to face as a result. Things are still tough but then they will be, but I can definitely see the light at the end of the tunnel, the ex-Mr Bertie and I now get on fine which is great for the kids and MOST importantly, my children are doing OK in the grand scheme of things.
