Egluntyne
...just found article when I was looking for the pic of Kate Middleton to see what all the fuss was about What was all the fuss Anne? Apparently some sort of agreement was made a while back that the press would leave her alone when she was going about her daily business and would only take photos when she was with Prince William...also the English papers promised not to use paparazzi photos. However a photo of her in some way connected with her working life was in the Mirror and so she has made an official complaint to the Press Commission or whatever they call themselves. Good for her. Lesley
I still haven't had a reply after I asked if the sauce was GM free Good on Levi for making a fuss - I hope he manages to find somewhere British to make it.
Louise
Lets hope so I am very saddened to see all of the manufacturing in the UK moving abroad to countires where the reason it is so cheap is because the poor workers practically have slave conditions I know it means some money but this does not help to improve things and all the big companies get fat on the profit which is squireled away in a tax haven
Martin B
Maybe Peter could buy him the HP sauce factory. Would love to see the logo outside Villa Park!

chelsea
just had our 1st taste of reggae sauce. Its actually quite hot, but the more we tasted it the more we liked it Hubby had it with sausages and mushrooms etc. Would be lush with a BBQ. we think it tastes like a spicy HP sauce. yum! Popcorn
Has anybody stuck to the 'use in 5 days once opened' recommendation on the label of their Reggae Reggar Sauce bottle? I haven't opened my bottle yet as I need to know I can use it up within 5 days. Don't want to have to chuck any away.
Cinnamon
Same here,Gina! We had one bottle, but I am saving the other one until I know it will all get used up quickly We need a BBQ one day & BBQ chicken breasts or spare ribs the next
chelsea
oh i didnt see that. I was expecting it to be a bit thicker in consitency, hubby smacked the bottom of the bottle like he did with ketchup and ended up with most of the bottle on his plate
red
We only noticed the "use in 5 days" after we'd opened it. I shall apply a "use in 5 weeks" rule I've got a good fridge and I don't stick any dirty cutlery in my jars so I'm confident it will last more than 5 days. I'll have some more in about four and a half weeks time - if you don't hear from me after that then you'll know to use it in 5 days!! Guest
We kept ours for about 3 weeks We are all still here. I wish it was a bit thicker as well, Dan put some on Jules plate the other day and she ended up with a plateful We all had to have another spoonful each off her plate
Lesley
I'm still using ours after about 4 weeks as well - i didn't notice that no wonder it's flying off the shelves in Sainsburys - people replacing their sauce after just 5 days
One Man Banned
I had a look at a bottle in Sainsburys on Monday - for those in the area Stroud branch had LOADS of it! Joe read the bottle and decided that it wouldn't be for him and I'm not a big fan of sauces and ketchup so didn't bother getting one. I did read the label that said "made in the UK" and thought...ah well not for much longer I guess.. A xx
Louise
I took about 4 weeks to use mine and I had noticed the 5 days thing on it I tend to be a bit blase with some things if it doesn't contain meat, dairy or eggs I tend to ignore the use by rule I am still here with the imune system of an ox I find it too runny to use as a pour on sauce so I use it to make chicken stir fry I fry the chicken and some veggies and then once they are cooked stir in about 1/3rd of a bottle of the sauce and cook for a couple of minutes this thickens the sauce and heats it through I have also added a wee drop of sherry to it to make it stretch when the bottle was running out and again just cook for a couple of minutes to evaporate the excess liquid and it coats the chicken and veg beautifully
