Lavenders_Blue
What a lovely update on Milo, he sounds like such a super little chap and a perfect companion for you. I know the terrier disappearing act well... I've also learnt (from experience) to sit and wait, they do always come back eventually don't they! The Dogmother
That's a lovely photo Christian. I have a dog who's selectively deaf when he's off hunting too I now walk him with a falconry bell on his collar so I know roughly where he is when he bogs off. Lavenders_Blue
I can second the suggestion of bells, Christian. DM recommended them to me and now Tango wears them when we're walking somewhere she's liable to disappear. People always say to me, 'You won't lose your dog with those on' when we're out... er, that's idea!
Christian
How weird! I attached a copper bell to his collar today! He sounded like Rudolph in the woods A couple of people commented that they thought it was a great idea. I actually did it as he has caught a couple of rabbits and I thought a bell might give them a fighting chance......
Space Chick
So pleased to hear he is doing so well
The Dogmother
These are the ones I get, just the plain silver bells if you scroll down. The paint tends to come off the coloured ones. I have one on a small carabiner and just clip it on when we got out.
chickencam
Lovely to have an update on Milo, he looks so sweet and it I am glad that he is a good companion to you.
Christian
Nearly 2 1/2 years since Furface arrived and I think he's settled! Just! He is doing really well. Still a couple of issues (namely joggers) but I can let people into the house without him getting 'friendly' with his teeth and with their ankles now. Still go to 'problem dog' training on a Monday evening and love it. So does he. He still won't come back every time I call him, but always comes back when he's good and ready to. Groovychook
Lovely photo Christian, he looks very chilled Nice to hear an update and pleased that the training has been worthwhile!
Christian
I think he needs the training. He's quite a clever terrier (well I would say that)! And needs the mental stimulation. He's just such fun (sounding like Miranda) to have around! He's been brilliant for my dad who looks after him when I'm at work, good company for him and gets him out and about meeting people. Plus his blood pressure has dropped dramatically and he's on less pills now
