No snow left here now. All been washed away by the rain. Not so cold now either.

It was snowing here late last night with all the cars in the street covered over, but not sticking on the pavements and road. Woke up this morning to a whiteout. About an inch of lovely crunchy snow, which hadn't frozen to the car. Hens water wasn't frozen either, but the run was covered in snow so they didn't want to come out

 

Side roads were slippery, but main roads fine and we had several heavy flurries during the day, and it was very foggy in between. This afternoon was lovely and sunny for about an hour before the skies darkened and the sleet rolled in

 

Still sleeting now, but very cold out so we may have lots of ice tomorrow morning

Well, the sun has gone although it was light until after 4pm today. Clouding over and sleeting now

Well, it has snowed on and off all day today so there is a nice layer of ice forming....not looking good for me setting off at 6.15am tomorrow, reckon the roads will be dreadful

We have a good covering here, enough to test my new Freelander in snow mode, more snow here than at work. I just wished it had come yesterday so I could have played in it!

We had sunshine this afternoon but only for a couple of hours, it is cloudy now with a bitter wind but no more snow as yet. Just been speaking to my father who tells me that we will have more snow up here tonight.

Think the snow is going to miss us but there is a hint that we may get it in the west on Friday however bet that will change by Friday, I have snow envy even though it can cause utter mayhem

Bitter out there tonight and we are due some more snow overnight. I am out picking up again tomorrow so could be interesting driving in good old Dennis in the morning.

Just driven back from ED about 3 miles away, country road no lights lots of water around that as frozen! Be very careful driving.

Clear skies here and still below zero ice on top of what was left of the snow, making it pretty dicey but the main roads are clear.

It was very windy last night and we must have had a lot of rain too... it's even soggier than usual this morning!

Sunny spells and showers here- 5 degrees.

A sprinkling over night here & a very heavy frost. Lethal, I've gone flying twice! I was going to pop to Lampeter today, but it can wait. I'll get what I need from the local shop, come back & cozy up.

It took me from 8.30 until 11 am to defrost all the chooks water & piggies auto drinker. Sheep drink from the stream, which is still running nicely. The eglus were frozen sloid & I had to use a wrench as a lever under the pophole handles to open them. The bolts on the wooden coops were frozen solid & I couldn't open one pop hole, so they are now parading round the patio, after being let out the big door. Pop hole now open, as the sun is out & everything is melting. Snow melted on the fields, but the mountains are stil beautifully white. I have taken photos, as so pretty.

The thermometer says that it's 2deg now and the sun is nice and warm, but everything in the shade is still crunchy and frozen.

It is 2 degrees here and baltic. Can't seem to warm up today, but was up at 3am for work and think I am just feeling tired and grumpy

The cloud has gone and it's clear again, the temp is dropping so I guess we're due more frost tonight.

Funny you should say that DM I could not get my feet warm last night, ended up with a fleece over them.

 

I couldn't get one of the bolts undone on one of the WIR doors this morning, ended up unscrewing it as I was in a hurry as I needed to leave for school.

 

Roads much better this afternoon but the heavy frost will make it icy in the morning.

It's chilly here as well, very clear out there, I haven't looked at the thermometer but I have cold feet as I've been up to stuff in the kitchen and the floor in there is freezing.

Corr it's a bit nippy out there! I should be out beating today but my old knee took a bashing yesterday so i'm staying in the warm today. I'm pleased to see that out roof is the only one that still has snow and ice on it in the village - pleased we had to loft insulated before Christmas.

Minus 2.6c all day , more ice than snow but the trees are covered in frost, quite picturesque really . But so very very cold.

Back below zero here again and still doing that fine icing sugar snow.

 

I left the dogs in their beds, with blankets over them this morning; I went back at lunchtime and they hadn't moved lucky hounds.
