keyhole kate Posted June 12, 2012 Share Posted June 12, 2012 Yesterday we attended OH's uncles funeral In Suffolk after the internment OH's Aunt who is the younger sister of the deceased became unwell at the wake she was taken to a local Dr's who diagnosed Gastro Ent and she was advised not to travel the three hour journey home within a hour she was worse and unable to speak and was taken to hospital with suspected minor stroke tonight we have received the tragic news she has passed away a scan revealed a bleed In the brain and nothing could be done other than placing her on life support until her middle son who did not travel to attend the funeral could get there to say goodbye as a consequence OH's mum has lost both her brother and sister within a fortnight we are so shocked how quickly you can lose someone Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

My best friend lost her mum and grandmother within two days of each other so I can imagine what your mum (and the rest of your family) is going through. (((hugs))) and my thoughts are with you.
