Lovely now here in South Oxfordshire.  Just been in the garden trying to get on top of the dreaded couch grass and bindweed.  I might stand more of a chance this year!

Another cold and frosty start, but the temperature is climbing quickly. I hate to say this, but we really could do with some rain.

Warmish and sunny here when I went out to do the chickens today. I agree about the rain DM - ground is cracked and baked in places over here.

Could smell the rain this morning but I think the nearest it got was Exeter - it went both sides of us but we've had a super day.  In fact after the chilly start, it got very warm!  The trees are leafing up nicely now.

We haven't had any rain today, but it's been cooler today and with high cloud. It got more humid as the day went on, but not unpleasant. I am really hoping for a good lot of rain PLEEEEASE

Started off overcast but warm here today but turned out sunny again.

Forecast keeps teasing rain but then taking it away. Currently a few hours of heavy rain forecast for the morning - fingers crossed!!

A bit stormy in the Channel at the moment and heading for the Isle of Wight.  Nothing round here yet.

Delighted to have water falling out of the sky. Apparently it is called rain. And about bl**dy time! I can hear the garden going 'slurp, slurp'! More and heavier forecast overnight so I will, sneakilly, put the bedroom window on the latch so that I can hear it belting! OH goes round the house shutting windows and turning up the heating. I follow him round opening windows and turning the thermostat down!

After on and off drizzle yesterday from 4pm, it is 'proper raining' here, and must have been most of the night as the first water but is almost full.

Both the FrenchTV weather forecasts said no rain until tomorrow, but it's been raining since dawn and it's raining now. 4" added to both of the 1000L water butts so far. Checked the soil in the veggie plot and it's only wet to 1" down, so still way too hard to till. But tomorrow is definitely heavy rain, overnight and into and Monday probably. Of course this then means the weeds will grow and so will the lawns, so next week will be busy.

Saw on the BBC this morning that the UK is sitting in a high pressure zone which means warm and dry for a week. Here it's raining again; 2" overnight filled the butts and anything else we don't want yet. They say we'll have rain until Thursday, by which time the grass will be too long to cut in one go.

Bright and dry here this morning, no rain but rather cool. I can't see any rain on the forecast for the next week.

Murky yesterday and foggy this morning but the wind picked up and blew it away.  It's a little bit of a chilly wind if you are just standing around, but working outside and it is sweltering!  I can't see any clouds at all!

Brr. Cold today and no sun. No rain either though so worst of both worlds. I’d got used to warm sunshine.

It started like that here - quite chilly. The sun was out around 10am and it got quite hot again, really lovely day.

I am doing a lot of outdoor work - sunscreen , hat and parasol, but am still getting quite a tan.

Really looking forward to the downpours promised for Tuesday/Wednesday. The garden is looking parched and the ground  is cracking up (like the gardener 🤣).

A very lovely day again today, but got cloudy when I went to walk the dogs late afternoon - looks like it could rain, but we don't have any forecast until Tuesday and Wednesday.
