Luvachicken
I've seen other oddly timed flowers, usually as photos, on the local weather. When I went out to the car a couple of days ago I spotted a fully open daffodil and was quite shocked to see it. This is the first time I have had one flower now. My primroses have had a few flowers all Summer too. Funny things
Daphne
Its this strange weather; very warm I know there are are snowdrops up in Brighton, which is just plain wrong
mullethunter
We have daffs flowering all over the garden and our cherry is covered in blossom and bees!
Luvachicken
We have daffs flowering all over the garden and our cherry is covered in blossom and bees! It could be a Winter flowering cherry My mum has one that is covered too - mind you it does normally flower a bit later, more January/February. sjp
there is one of the winter cherries that flowers this time of year. one of the former priests at the Parish church planted one in memorial of her late husband and it flowers from about the end of November to about now give or take it's not as showy as a spring flowering one but it flowers a bit longer
Valkyrie
Yes - I've seen some odd daffs in flower on the main road to Reading. Looks so weird I wondered if someone had stuck plastic ones in the grass! Will have a closer look tomorrow - not really the done thing while driving round a roundabout! My mum has brought her quamash bulbs in as they are about to flower!
Luvachicken
I have another daffodil in flower right next to the first one. I just hope all my little tete -a - tete wait until Spring. Imagine a Spring with no daffodils
Saronne
I've had snowdrops blossoming in the front garden for the past two weeks - normally this variety blossoms in mid to late January. So one month early.
Valkyrie
Had a closer look today and they are little multi-headed narcissi. There's a few more on the A30 as you go into Hook from Hartley Wintney. And I took a photo while OH pulled over! Will download it this evening. Luvachicken
I can see some tete - a- tete leaves but nothing else thank goodness. I do have lots of snowdrops but they haven't made an appearance yet Also saw the tips of crocus leaves. I have a patio rose about to flower 3 buds too

Minnie&Moose
We've got primroses and cowslips flowering, a hazel tree with leaf buds opening, and a fuscia that's just produced another crop of leaves having been a dead-looking stick for the last month
Blackrocksrock
My snowdrops are peeping through and the crocuses should be if the mice have not eaten them again!. The Xmas roses are so nice too.
Ain't Nobody Here
My hebe (which is massive) still has a single little flower and half of my fuschias haven't dropped their leaves. I've got flowering primroses too. All very odd.
Valkyrie
Snowdrops are opening up fast and I have a violet! Didn't look to see if there are any more. Roses still blooming nicely - mainly the yellow ones. And my perennial wallflower is a mass of purple even now! Penstemons still have flowers too. Luvachicken
Slight change of subject - I had to cook our Boxing Day dinner with the back door open because it was so warm Never had to do that before.
chickencam
We have a dafodil flower in our garden which has been there since at least 27th December and there is a whole drift of them on the verge by the main road about half a mile away. We still have roses albeit soggy ones and geraniums with flowers.
Valkyrie
It's crazy isn't it! Went for our last walk of the year - while the sun was out - and in Alresford on 31st of December we found these along the road - loads and loads along an avenue of trees. Lots to still flower (and these were nicely sheltered and I was able to photograph them without the wind blowing them sideways). Primroses also were out but I didn't snap those! Waiting for the bluebells now! Plus some campion? The pink is darker in reality.
Luvachicken
Just seen quite a few daffodils on the way into Aldershot today and at Hartley Wintney yesterday. Also my Daphne has sprouted its new Spring leaves
Luvachicken
Just spotted a couple of crocus flowering yesterday and one wallflower - yellow. Today I spotted a little clump of tete a tete flowering. My snowdrops look lovely although a local cat has used my snowdrop bed as a litter tray, and something has nibbled all the flowers buds off one bunch of my snowdrops
Blackrocksrock
I have one crocus out - I think the mice ate the rest! - and I have a miniature iris almost out and snowdrops showing white ready to open and today we have snow.
