Cate in NZ
There is not a snowballs chance in hell of you lot getting to see the inside of my house, unless the nesting instinct kicks in whilst this thread is still active!! Ditto..............and I'm not expecting any nesting instinct to kick in ever again

bronze
I can do views first this is how it was when we moved in. On the patch the small boy is sitting in its all bark and is a play area. the weedy bit to the left houses a cube. this is the view from the bottom of the garden. Its one of my favourite things about this house and I especially love it when we get sheep/lambs in the field. I copied the above to say that I too couldn't see any pics, which I can't, but these links showed up, which aren't visible on the main page. Spooky. They only show here because I removed the img thingys. http://mygroovywedding.com/attachments/all-things-housey/8520d1094845442-some-pics-houseview1.jpg http://mygroovywedding.com/attachments/all-things-housey/8519d1094845264-some-pics-houseview.jpg You have to go through the palaver of registering to view. Snowy
Lovely garden and views Bron. Thats one of the things I love about Norfolk gardens, they all seem to back onto fields and be a really decent size - whenever I go to see my Dad I covet all the lovely gardens we pass on the way

Guest
The view was one of the things that sold us the house - it's never the same view 2 days in a row - the weather conditions play a huge part in it - somedays we wake up to a blanket of mist over the valley, with only the tree tops peeking though, which is my favourite. On the other side of the fence you can see, there is a sharp drop, where they were granted permission to build another row of houses, which would have spoilt our view slightly, with the rooftops being visible. Sadly (NOT!!), the electrician that was round last week doing some of the snagging list was saying that the building company have reviewed their plans, and have decided that bungalows are the way to go, rather than the townhouse design that they had originally planned on, so we'll have no rooftops in view, if and when they ever get built. Mrs Frugal
Lovely views, Bron. I'd love a garden that doesn't have houses at the bottom of it looking in.
Lesley
Lovely photos Shona, Bron and Christian! At least you can show your office Christian! - ours is always a tip! We're usually too busy working in it to tidy it up - and I use it as a dumping ground I might take a photo just to show you how bad it is - Ginette and KateA saw it last week
Christian
You should have seen it last week Lesley. It hadn't been tidied for 18 months
chelsea
gorgeous houses and views folks! Lesley your porch is lovely and Christian your whole house is nice (I dont know what you were worried about). You lucky lucky things, I live in a cul-de-sac, so my house has no age or character, I would LOVE to live in a cottage.
Olly
how do you all manage to have such lovely, tidy, tasteful houses! I have no excuse as it's just me and the cat here, but I had a drinks party on the 23rd so did my usual trick of scooping up all the rubbish from downstairs and dumping it in the spare room. I went away on 24th, got back after a hideous six-hour drive on Thursday and amazingly, all the rubbish was still there! (don't know why I keep that cat, he never lifts a paw ) I now have bagsful of Christmas presents which also need to find homes ... and I have been living here for over a year and still haven't worked out where to put everything. Luckily the one thing in good order is my drinks cupboard, I may have to go and console myself even though it is only 10.30! I am , I don't even have a lovely view to show you. I think it is time I shut myself away with some black bags and had a clear-out.
Lesley
The problem with tidying is that you can never find anything!!! - I have a pile of new box files but I know that the moment I tidy everything up, I will lose something that I can lay my hands on at the moment
Ain't Nobody Here
If I waited for a sunny day or a pretty snow scene, this thread would be long gone, so here's the (rather dull & overcast) view from my bedroom window. Suppose it's not bad considering I live in a housing estate in the middle of a city . Might not be there for long though as the land is being sold by Scottish Water and will probably end up with a housing estate or possibly a high school on it . An eglu with a view (yes, my garden is that small )
