First one was new (but it was a present, so technically I didn't buy it). Second Eglu was second-hand. I'd have loved to buy a second-hand Cube, but there aren't many on the market!

The first one was new....... followed by a 'seconds', and then some second-hand...... and a couple of re-cons.......... and then the Cube was introduced so we bought Eglus from people buying a Cube

 

We've only bought one brand spanking new one.

At some point I will be looking for an orange Eglu, so I can use it as temp housing for new hens/sick bay if necessary, and i will try for a second hand one first.

Second hand 2nd green Eglu and Yellow Eglu.

Both my eglu and cube were used, eglu is now being sold on to someone else to enjoy chooks! Wish I could keep it and get more but common sense must prevail.

I bought mine second hand-it was a bargainous £250 with a shade, run convertor, old and newer style peanuts and delivery from the Omleteers boss!

Hi - I bought mine second hand on ebay - the vendor had put a new set of roosting bars in it which was nice

 

I just gave it a good scrub and its as good as new and a lot cheaper - and I got it within 24 hours of buying it.

My Eglu was from Ebay & my cube was a recon one.
