I like...it suits the style of the new homepage and other bits and I think the difference to the UCP makes that a lot clearer. I just think that in the actual forum or on the board index everything looks kinda..the same? It's harder to tell things apart, like what's just a thread and what's a sticky or an important notice. I like the way you post messages though, I think the new way of quoting is nice..but I don't like the way you read normal posts, it's not too clear.

 

Well, there's my opinion anyway..but I'm going to stick with omletsilver and play around for now

I really like the "Board Index" button top and bottom and also this line of buttons when you're on the index page .....

Gosh I go out for a bit to buy new girlies and look whats happened to the forum! I wasn't sure at all and I haven't had a proper lookround yet but if nosebleed is going then we'll just have to get used to it.

 

I agree with Scramble though that the index page/thread title thingy doesn't look very clear. You knew where the stickys/announcements were but they all seem the same at the moment. Can anything be done on that?

I'm getting used to it - bits I like and bits I don't........I've had to use the A button to make the font larger.......like having Board Index at top and bottom......

Just one thing - the avatars keep jumping from the right to the left of the screens depending on what I am looking at

 

They def look better on the right as the text reads better with nothing to the left of it

 

It would seem like work is ongoing though

One problem, if you receive a PM, and the person is online, the sash gets in the way of the text.

Just another quick comment. It is much harder to see when new posts have been added to a topic. the contrast between the red and the blue is not that great. Also the name beside the latest post is hard to spot too.

On the main Nesting Box Index page, at the left hand side threads with new posts show with a red indicator and those with no new posts show with a blue one. It seems hard to immediately spot the threads with new posts.

I tried it yesterday and was but the changes have made it better already

 

I prefer the avatar on the left + really like the Online banner - could there be an offline one?

Don't know about the PM button though, a bit small?

 

I still think the mods should be orange

- ooh, don't like that you have to click font colour at the top + not have it on the side when posting a message

 

The cursor when typing text isn't there either for me.

I don't see them in front of a thread title that has been read, but on the Index page, read forums are green, not blue

Green for me, eglu green - but I don't much like it, its a bit ditchwatery. Not very uplifting. However, I can see you can never please all the people all the time! This has made me realise we have more control over our screens than I thought, which is a good thing!

... the thread titles all have the author under them + look bigger spaced in general, so it seems to take a lot longer to read the titles / find the one you want

 

Is there a way to put them to the right hand side again, or is it just me that finds it annoying?
