Snowy Posted April 29, 2012 Author Share Posted April 29, 2012 Yes we have pics! We were so lucky with the weather - bit windy, but not a drop of rain all day, a miracle compared to Friday and today! Quite hard to find one which shows off the dress well, but these will give you an idea: Very hard to find a dress which flatters the larger figure, but this one achieved it, it really did look lovely. To top it all, a few days before the wedding the cleaners did manage to sort out the original dress!! So at least she has a nice clean wedding dress to sell to recoup some money I can't find one which shows the back - it had a lovely long train as well. But you get the gist My favourite pics were taken by my 9 year old son - I think he's a budding David Bailey! This is my step grandaughter and my youngest son: Step grandson and youngest son: He got in the shot on this one, posed everyone and asked another child to take the picture - thats him between the ladies! I bought a new dress from house of fraser and they carried out some minor alterations and totally ruined the dress a couple of weeks before my wedding, I had to kick up an almighty fuss to get them to replace it and remember anxiously waiting until the week before with no dress - even now nearly 24 yrs later I still can't see the funny side of it My dress had been quite cheap (it was exactly what I wanted) so even if they had refunded the money I'd have had to spend a lot more money that I didn't have to get one in time Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
