Ain't Nobody Here Posted October 18, 2015 Share Posted October 18, 2015 Seems to have been ages coming, but I start tomorrow at 9.30am. I'm surprised how much more excited than nervous I am. My first day went really well, my line manager is lovely and we have a very similar sense of humour which helps. Loads to take in and feeling a bit useless but everyone seems very helpful and friendly so I'm sure I'll be pulling my weight soon. Enjoyed my 10 minute walk from the car to and from the office and am impressed that I have a name badge already. Ain't Nobody Here Posted October 21, 2015 Author Share Posted October 21, 2015 It's not all plain sailing, the IT department still haven't sorted my log in so I can't do much yet. I've had to arrange meetings with loads of people which is all very confusing if you don't know who any of them are! There are 125 people in the office and 25 in my department (most of whom come and go all the time so I don't see much of them). It's a steep learning curve but everyone seems very friendly, laid back and approachable so I'm sure once I'm settled I'll be fine. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
