Feel a bit silly asking, but everytime I go somewhere that sells Aubiose, I hear it pronounced differently. Just when I think I've got it right I go to another retailer and they give a funny look when I ask the price of it.

 

Aubiose :

 

"OR BEE OSE"

OR BI OZE

 

or something different altogether? !

Trouble is most of the places Ive been have about 3 or 4 different types of horse bedding!

If you look the i is before the o. Part of the name is often mispronounced as bois (or bwaas) when in fact its aubiose

 

so its au -bi - ose and bearing in mind its French origins its most likely correctly pronounced oh - bee - ose as already indicated above

It is the french pronunciation Oh Bee Aus, for ages I was saying OH-Boys-ee, but I think Plum beat that
