chuckmum6
Well I like it, it would fit in most rooms, the gerbils won't be able to fling out stuff and cleaning looks easy. I'm just not up for parting with so much money though, in recession it is just too much for me to justify such a spend.
Jules.
It reminds me of Ikea's Expedit storage systems Not blown away by it Its very pricey as well We use Habitrail Ovo Loft for our 2 hams You've hit the nail oin the head, I was racking my brains trying to think what I thought it looked like Never having owned a small cuddly creature I have no idea if the design as a whole is good for pets ot not However I'm sure Omlet have done lots of research to make sure the housing is suitable. fluffy chick
I guess I was expecting something curvy and artistic coming from omlet and having a name like 'qute' When I was a kid I had a hamster in a really funky cage, all different colours. That was YEARS ago and a fraction of the price. I'm out!
sazmet
i quite like it as a pressie for a kid...maybe in a couple of years i might get one. i like the "ikea" look of it. Sigh, another thing for the wish list haha!!
Chucky Mama
not really sure about it to be honest. Seems to be too focused on trying to be a piece of furniture rather that a practical and appealing home for what is a child's pet (usually). It is rather expensive and I'd rather have more space for the hamster than the storage which is not enough for many supplies.
sadietoo
I quite like it. .....as someone who has only been allowed to have a green cube and eglu I don't think I would be allowed to have one in a funky colour even if it were available. And if like us you had to keep your small furry animal in the dining room because the sound of the squeaky wheel kept your little darling awake at night I think that you would want it to look more like a piece of furniture, and less like a huge rainbow coloured piece of plastic. I also really like the idea that it is easy to keep the critter in it whilst you clean it out, ...we had some close s"Ooops, word censored!"es with our hamster...and a friend of ours had to take their floorboards up to rescue one of theirs It is rather too pricey though...imo
Sam
I like it Tbh I wouldn't want a bright green/red/pink/purple etc curvy thing in my room, I think the fact it's white and neutral means it fits in the room well
chestnutmare
It says a version for dwarf hamsters is to come. I'm undecided about it as of yet. I do like it but I expected more of a wow factor, an individual feature, something more unique. I've seen similar cages to this although the shelf and draw type cleaning is handy. Hmmm.... it is pricey but we've paid a lot for Eglus so Omlet are probably thinking, 'why not?!'
Lewis
I think it looks good but they could have done a lot better, not very innovative IMO and I wouldn't be interested at that price ... sorry Omlet! Maybe they could think about expansion packs of tubes like some other houses have to give a bit more space. Look at the video, will you be able to stand a bag of hamster food when its open in it rather than lie it down? I think a mini classic with a run (could have a deep tray under it for burrowing) made of 10mm wire would have looked really I've always had small furries since I was little, got 2 gerbils atm and they're in this... Think I could put it in a white cupboard?
Omletina Kyckling
I like it and would have loved one in my younger days when I had hamsters!
Sammiboo
"The World’s Most Beautiful Hamster and Gerbil House" bit boring imo. I would have liked to see something a bit more funky.

Couperwife
I like it, i think it looks nice but there isnt much for the critters to do in it, is there? looks a bit boring from a critters point of view
WitchHazel
Hmm. Some nice features, but overall the design isn't funky enough to be instantly Omlet. I like the deep litter, and the ease of cleaning. It's a lot of sleeping space for one hammy though (as they are solitary creatures), so I think being able to halve the sleep area and put in additional climby bits would make it more interesting for them. I have one major concern, which is that someone mught pull up the tube preventing accessing to the top, and forget to put it back again...meaning more old Hammy in the bottom wouldn't be able to access water. Bramble
Gosh, that seems very expensive to me, I don't know what other small creature houses go for, but £120 for a hamster cage
Alexis Marsh
Seriously??! That's completely underwhelming and majorly over-priced. We bought a hamster for our 5YO daughter two weeks ago - we bought a massive Rotastak home for it with pipes and tubes coming off it in all directions, different 'pods' at different heights, two large living areas, a wheel .... it's like a palace and it cost somewhere in the region of £45. It offers so so so much more space, interest and value for money than this Qute - there is literally nothing for the hamster to do in the Qute apart from climb up a single tube ..... and then back down again. Boring for the hamster and boring to watch. And £149 for a plastic box with a drawer??! You have to be kidding me!? Come on Omlet, I love my , it offers so much more than leading wooden coops for only marginally more money (no red mite, fox proof, easy to clean, looks eye-catching, doesn't rot, no rats), but this Qute offers absolutely nothing

LolaLayla
Do Omlet take anything we say into consideration do you think? Hmm, well we had quite a discussion about the name and that didn't seem to make a difference
craftyhunnypie
I like the Qute, but it's rather large for just one hamster. Much more suited to Gerbils & Degus. I think it's expensive, but if small critters are your absolute love, then I do think it's nice. The pull out perspex burrowing tank is a good idea. Cooks
That's plain horrible IMO I agree it looks like an mfi cupboard and some dodgy diy job! not qute at all!
Bramble
My experience of perspex (admittedly not as a small furry home, but when used for fish tanks) is that it scratches terribly, so whilst it might be lighter than glass would be and easy to clean, using anything on it other than soft kitchen towel will scratch it quite quickly. Omlet have no doubt already thought of that, but I'd want to double check if I was thinking of buying one. Still have to say, hats off to Omlet for trying, I hope it works for them, their other products are SO good ...
