mimi5
It's been raining here ALL day....so depressing! Snow forecast for overnight, well that wont make my commute an easy one in the morning! On reflection I'd be happier if it kept raining.......even if the garden will be back to swamp status!!!
chuckmum6
Just grey and rainy filled clouds, the garden is a swamp, but it is cold, may get snow tonight.
Lavenders_Blue
Rainy, rainy, rainy here today Not sure whether I like snow or rain best, I'm not much keen on either - I'd rather have some sunshine!
The Dogmother
We've had rain all day and the sheer amount of standing water is unbelievable. We went over to Milton Keynes earlier and it is now snowing; much more settling out that way than here though.
Charlottechicken
Snowing and settling here Cars are white and the velux windows in the kitchen are covered over.
Egluntyne
Snowing heavily here again. It turned to rain this afternoon, but the white stuff is back.

Purplemaniacs
Me too, about an inch or two it is still wet underneath the snow, it can't have frozen last night. How much have you had L_B? I am glad it is half term. Chrissie
Egluntyne
Half term already? Ours is next week. We woke up to a couple of inches of snow this morning. The road outside has solid queue of traffic as far as the eye can see.
The Dogmother
We have an inch or so but it 's wet stuff and the main roads are clear. A friend lives 20 mins away in one of the villages and she has 4-5" of the stuff Temp is above freezing and it's all dripping so I guess we'll have yet more floods. Purplemaniacs
Half term already? Ours is next week. Rutland seems to be a week early this year, Lincolnshire is next week which causes lots of problems as around here lots of families have children in schools in both counties or parents who work in one and have children in schools in the other county. patsylabrador
Steady fall of wet, slushy, messy kind of snow here.
Pearls007
Steady fall of wet, slushy, messy kind of snow here. Same here. The school run took an hour, I spent 45 minutes clearing the drive before 7 and the chickens haven't been let out of the run yet!
The Dogmother
It has eased off here now and looks to be brightening up. The paths are clear-ish, main road is totally clear. Bizarrely I just saw someone walking past our office, all togged up, wellies, back pack, the lot. Instead of walking on the path, they were using walking poles and walking along the main road, which is busy with traffic. Can't imagine what on earth they are thinking.... chickencam
It tipped it down wi rain all day yesterday and blew a gale, but we had a tiny smattering of snow overnight, but gone now. It is our half term too, we were going to go away for a short break but decided against it after seeing weather forecast.

bluekarin
A dry morning walking the dog and dropping YD off at a friends to go shopping in Southampton. Met my friends and toddlers for breakfast. Bit of shopping in Waitrose only to see snow when waiting at the till! Stopped for a bit, but really heavy now Hope YD is ok as she has no coat with her. Or gloves. Or a phone so I can get hold of her (wrote my number down for her friend to text me but so far nothing )

chuckmum6
Cold, my Y5 were out sketching today, only for a little time as their poor fingers were frozen! Just about hanging on for our half term next week, sooooo ready for it. Leicestershire off this week, but Notts are next week like us.
