snowberry
I saw my aunt yesterday & she rang an hour ago to say that she's been up all night with the norovirus, & can I walk her dog....will it look very rude if I turn up to hers in a space suit with a de-contamination unit to shower under afterwards?! Alis girls
I would spray her,the dog and the air they breathe with Dettox. if you saw her yesterday you might still get it i am afraid to say. Positive vibes coming your way.

snowberry
I met her for lunch yesterday & ate some of the chips off her plate...that's what I get for being a thief
Alis girls
Hopefully you will escape it. As for the chips if you get it you will escape weight gain. Just not a pleasant to spend a day on intimate terms with the inside of your bog.

LolaLayla
Fingers crossed for ES please . He's emailed asking about a vacancy for a cleaner in a small animal vet practice. /quote] Any news? Bluekarin- I had similar problems with Lara and as soon as any dog approached she lie down on her back. Things have improved. I am not sure if it is with age or the fact we often walk with a very elderly collie cross who is nearly blind and deaf and in their individual ways are both vulnerable (Lara due to size). She has seen how the older dog reacts and maybe this has helped her stand her ground more. However if I had a £1 for everyone who said "oh he/she is only a puppy" as poor Lara was bowled over I would be a millionaire On a totally different topic.- men and multitasking- This morning OH was at the sink washing his glass from last night. Next to the sink was my glass and a salad dish to be hand washed. He washed his glass and poured the bowl of water away. I questioned him as to why he hadn't washed the other two items. His reply was that I was talking to him at the time We decided it was a mulitasking problem or perhaps he just pays so much attention to what I say that other things become insignificant

The Dogmother
Sorry to hear that Lewis - will all be over soon Talking of lambing and births, we had the first deer birth of the year at work on Friday - one of the Pere David (rare breed) does dropped her fawn. the gamekeeper spotted the afterbirth in one of the wooded areas and saw the baby up and about, but I haven't seen it yet. Apparently that breed births early, the rest are due around May and June.

Ain't Nobody Here
That's a relief! No news on the job yet. The main vet is on holiday - his colleague was supposed to contact ES but hasn't yet. In a way I'm glad, I want the vet who's into running to speak to him so ES can mention his running!

Ain't Nobody Here
ES got an email today saying they've filled the post . Didn't even get a chance to interview . Might have been an inside job . I texted him "who wants to clean up animal poo all day anyway ". He replied "I've got to clean up after Cameron in the flat, couldn't be much worse!" .
