It's snowing again here now too. Very cold outside, but nice and warm in here! The hens don't like the weather, but Molly did venture out to lay in her usual spot-behind the compost bin... She left lots of chicken foot prints on the path too. Later on they just stayed in their run though.

We had loads! It hasn't really stopped snowing all day.

Unfortunately I live just around the corner from work so still had to go in :( but a few customers cancelled so I got to come home early and play in the snow with the chook girls and the dogs before it got dark.

The chook girls were not very impressed, I opened the run door and they all just stood and looked at the scarey white stuff  Boco took a few steps then shot back in, but the others were a bit braver.

Ted (the brown dog) doesn't do snow at all :talk2hand: He shot out, I snapped a picture and he shot back in before the snowballs had a chance to get his feet

Great pictures everyone

We had snow all day until about 6pm. I think we've probably had about 6 inches. OH and E built a snowman which is about 5 1/2 ft. We never get this much snow. It turns out the school did close but we now have to wait until the morning to find out if it's open tomorrow.

Well it stopped here a few hours ago, just as well as it has snowed almost constantly since last night, dog didnt know what to make of it at first then decided charging about with her nose in it so her whole face got covered was a good game! Chooks were VERY unimpressed!

There's an Eglu in there somewhere

And there's a Cube and run there too!

Lovely lovely snow here, I managed to get the thirty five miles to work ok but many who lived five mins away couldn't apparently

My car got stuck in my driveway whilst I was trying to park this evening - the gravel has frozen  I thought I would get loads of traction on gravel but have had to leave the car dumped at a rakish angle

I wonder if I will be working from home tomorrow??

Front Garden at Egluntine Towers taken a few minutes ago. The lump in the foreground is a Corrollo. It is snowing like crazy but you cant really tell from the photo. The road, which is a busy main one is under about 2 ins of snow, even thought the gritters and snow plough have been out a couple of times.

It looks a bit different to how it looked on Saturday morning when ali-h called by.

We don't appear to have had any fresh snow overnight either, but it's still about 2-3 inches deep from yesterday.

We tried to make a snowbunny yesterday but our effort was too rubbish to photograph. Might try a snowchook today (but I think it may be "the wrong kind of snow").
