I'm so sorry for your loss. it is a long and winding road ahead... I am nearly 15 years down the road since losing my own dad and I can promise you it does get better. you will still miss him, but you will always remember him and that's nice. even now, the smell of pipe smoke takes me right back, or if I see or hear something I know Dad would have enjoyed, it's like having him close again. much love to you all. xxx

So sorry to hear about your sad news. Hold onto the fact that he did not suffer. My mum had a bad stroke and she was in hospital for months before she died. I wish she had not had to go through that. My thoughts are with you and your family.
