One Man Banned
Oh no! I hope that when she's tested it's nothing too serious and won't affect the others. I didn't know about a sheep's ambition, I'd never heard of that! A xx

SarahJo
Sorry to read the news - Really hard to balance the whys and wherefors when it comes to livestock. As was said before, hope it is something to do with that ewe, and nothing within the flock. Take care, and best wishes as always to you and Carl. Lesley
We're still waiting to have her collected. There is nothing apparent that we can see. We put her in the stock trailer overnight - we coudn't bear the thought of leaving her with her lamb (full grown now) who was pawing at her and bleating also.... the fox would have been around overnight...... We keep questioning ourselves...... did we overfeed?.... not feed enough?.....is the grass good enough?.........could we have saved her? bronze
Stop worrying yourselves. For all you know it could have been one of those things... a hole in the heart or a dodgy valve etc. You know there hundreds of those thing that just happen and its noones fault. Lesley
The others all seem OK this morning. We wouldn't feel so bad if it were one of the older ones - she's only a couple of years old and was the friendliest - always came to have her head scratched.
