chicken bark
Hope Rosie gets some better sleep tonight now that she is all clean. Although I know that it is not easy to sleep in a noisy hospital. xx
LolaLayla
On to catch up with how Rosie is. Great to hear that she is recovering As everyone is saying, do look after yourself DM and when folk offer help, take it. It will make things a bit easier for you. Take care. Charlottechicken
Glad to hear Rosie is continuing to make good progress Tell her not to exceed expectations, just to meet them, you only get one chance to heal properly. Clare, as others have said, you take care of yourself too. Gentle ((((hugs)))) to both of you!
Mrs Webmuppet
I've only just caught up with this thread. Sending best wishes for a speedy recovery to Rosie from the Webmuppets. Claire make sure you look after yourself, I ended up at the docs after LMW was rushed into hospital as a toddler.

The Dogmother
Thanks chaps. Yesterday was good... I popped back home for a shower and to deal with stuff and returned to find that the physio had her up on crutches, which are bags easier than the frame. She was doing too much and was pretty uncomfortable and grotty by the evening. She is back in a side ward as the room was needed for a very poorly girl. We had a lovely visit last night from some of the Oxford Roller derby team who were wonderful and really made her laugh. I am hoping that she could be home today if she can be taught to do stairs with crutches. Have been talking to the red cross who we can hire equipment from as we will need two wheelchairs, one for home when she has to do more than a few steps, and one for school when she gets tired from using crutches. Phil is going to look at them and collect today. I met with the school yesterday and they are being brilliant, she can go back part time, they will supply an early pass and a minder to make sure that she's not knocked, she can go back part time at first after half term, and they are already uploading stuff to the learning platform for her to work on. Rosie sends loads of love and thanks for your love and kind comments.
Olly
Glad to hear the school are being supportive - I bet Rosie can't wait to get home, and you'll be glad to have her there. Here's hoping her recovery continues at the same pace - and as others have said, make sure you look after yourself too.

craftyhunnypie
Great news about Rosie! I can only praise you Clare, for being the good mum that you are! It might be worth it when Rosie is a little more mobile, to look into your local shopmobility - to hire a mobilty scooter, should she wish to join in with her friends round town. Just a thought. You can get some funky ones too now. Emma.x
